Overview:

Presented by Dr. James McCloskey and Dr. Maher Albitar

This Webinar will focus of the clinical relevance of distinguishing myelodysplastic syndrome from acute myeloid leukemia. It will discuss the diagnostic molecular abnormalities that define myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)/Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) and those that define acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Molecular changes associated with transformation from MDS to AML will also be discussed. Post therapy molecular abnormalities and the use of these abnormalities for monitoring and detecting minimal residual disease will also be presented and discussed.
